From the City to the Slopes

A Typical Ski Day for Your Child

Departure in Munich

The ski day starts early in the morning: from 7 a.m., our buses depart from many stops across Munich, located in the city center, the south, and the west. At the stop it’s simple: backpack off, skis into the luggage compartment – and off we go! Our ski instructors or the bus supervisor are already there to help the children get on board and make sure everyone finds a safe seat. For parents, this means: a relaxed wave goodbye, knowing your child is in the best hands.

The Bus Ride to the Slopes

On the way to Garmisch, Ehrwald, or Lenggries, the atmosphere quickly becomes lively. Kids chat, laugh, play – or sometimes just doze off and relax a little. Halfway there, we take a short break (yes, even the best ski day starts with a bathroom stop). Afterwards, the excitement for the slopes is almost tangible.

Arrival and Equipment

Once we arrive at the ski area, we unload together. On the first course day, the children receive their pre-ordered rental equipment – already adjusted, labeled with their name – and then it’s straight to the slopes. Groups are pre-assigned, but if someone turns out to be a budding racer or more of a relaxed cruiser, adjustments are made after the first runs.

Morning on the Slopes

Now it’s time to put on the skis and hit the runs! In the morning, kids practice with their instructor – technique, safety, and most importantly, fun – always in a playful and motivating way.

Lunch Break in the Mountain Hut

And since skiing makes you hungry, we all meet at the mountain hut for a warm lunch. Afterwards, the kids not only recharge their energy but also their motivation for the afternoon.

Afternoon Training & Return Trip

Until about 3:30 p.m., it’s skis back on and time to explore the slopes again. Around 4 p.m., the buses head back toward Munich. The ski equipment? It stays safely on the bus – no need to carry it back and forth!

Back in Munich

At the Munich bus stop, parents are already waiting for their little ones, who step off the bus tired, happy, and with shining eyes. They bring home not only new skiing skills, but also team spirit, self-confidence, and lots of great memories.
